Soppy and Mushy

I'm cooking dinner whilst grumpy lies on the sofa wrapped in my blanky and all of a sudden I hear the song which he chose as ours before we even got together blasting out from the living room. And there he is in the kitchen singing, "How wonderful life is while you're in the world" with his arms open wide, asking for a hug-dance. I, of course, burst into tears, "soppy cow" said he. "mushy git", said I.
