In case you hadn't noticed, I've been on a bit of a downward path this last week or so. I can't quite put my finger on it but I suspect it has a lot to do with raging PMS with no M in sight. I have cramps, I'm irritable (and most probably irritating too), bloated and oh just generally yukky. If my period doesn't arrive in the next couple of days I'll be beating a path to my doctors door and demanding answers, oh I do hope the PMS has calmed by then, poor man.
I'm sorry I haven't been so commenty either. I am reading, always reading and nodding and crying with you. Always.
I have blogged every day for quite a while now and I think I need to switch off for a day or so. I probably won't manage it; I've become rather addicted to this place of mine and yours, but I think I need it. Maybe I'll just post random scanned photos for a few days.
Here's one for today.
We had many holidays in caravans when I was little, in fields and on farms. Apparently I was quite ill on this holiday, hence the over-dressing. Maybe I was worried about being on the tractor or maybe I was just feeling bad but I don't look too happy here. My brother on the other hand looks quite enthused. These days, oh my goodness, it would be far too dangerous to let children play on something so real.
You sound like you need an extra hug...or a drink or something. So, here's a hug (and I'll poor a drink for you too!).
ReplyDeleteSorry for the PMS, I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeletesending (virtual) hugs and chocolate your way!
ReplyDeleteTake some time :) We are all here for you if you need us beautiful Barb :)
ReplyDeleteSorry for the blues. Take all the time you need- waiting with love and hugs.
ReplyDeleteFavourite time of the month? We wait and we wait and we wait. Is there an end?
ReplyDeleteI hope Miss M comes soon, and the PMS goes away.
All the best.
BTW, I really enjoy the old pictures and the stories/thoughts associated with it.
Hey, I get the needing to take a break thing. You do what you need, we'll always be here. I just love love love your blog. And you!
ReplyDeleteBarb, the spiral down is awful, but you will ascend. Pinkie swear. Till then, I recommend Galaxy bars and hot drinks. wishing I could do more, I really do xxxxx
ReplyDeleteI say get a cup of hot chocolate, a good book and a blankie, and just cover up with a scenic view. Screw the PMS!
ReplyDeleteYo M - the least you can do is come gracefully for poor Barbara after all she's been through.
ReplyDeleteThen - disappear..on a nice long vaca, ya hear?
