I have a very important favour to ask

Could you hang on to hope for me?

Only for a little while. Not too long.

It's just that I can feel it slipping from my grasp and I need to keep it in some safe hands while I do a bit of essential maintenance to my optimism tank, untangle my stress wires and buff up my zen bumpers.

I'd be ever so grateful.

And thank you, thank you for your words of encouragement and solidarity yesterday.  It helped. A lot.

  4. I am holding on tight to the balloon strings of hope, and I am ready to send them floating your way when you're ready to take them on again. For now, let them go and know they are in safe hands.

  18. Hi Barbara

I have read your blog for quite a while but am a lurker rather a commenter (apologies!)

First, I am so so sorry that you are without George. *hugs*.

I would be honoured to look after some hope for you.

I just wanted to let you know that I know how it feels to get unwelcome news from the fertility people. (I was told that many IVF clinics wouldn't treat me because of my FSH/LH/E2 numbers, basically because there was such a low response/success rate.) Anyways, I did a number of things (nothing too strenuous or weird!) and although it took some time, these seemed to work for me. I don't want to bore everyone here with them, but would happy to share if you think it might help?

Please don't give up all hope.

    Lots of love

    xx
